Press Releases
NEW YORK, June 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- S&P Global today announced the resignation of Jack Callahan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Callahan, who assumed his current role in 2010, will leave the Company in August for a leadership role at one of the world's leading academic institutions.
"Jack has been at the forefront of our transformation from The McGraw-Hill Companies to McGraw Hill Financial and finally to S&P Global," said Doug Peterson, President and Chief Executive Officer, S&P Global. "Jack has embedded a culture of growth and sustainable shareholder value throughout the Finance organization and indeed the Company overall. He made an immediate impact after joining the Company in 2010, and his significant achievements since that time have included the divestiture of our non-financial benchmark and analytics businesses, the SNL acquisition and upgrading financial functions and processes throughout the organization. I'm grateful for his valuable contributions and wish him much continued success in his future endeavors."
"The transformation of the Company to S&P Global has been an exhilarating and fulfilling accomplishment," said Mr. Callahan. "I am proud and grateful for the opportunity to have been part of it. More importantly, I want to thank my colleagues for their commitment and hard work in building this terrific new company. I am confident that the people of S&P Global will collectively continue to drive growth and performance for many years to come."
Mr. Callahan will remain with the Company until August and will join in the internal and external search process for a successor.
