NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- William Lyon Homes (NYSE:WLH) will replace Arctic Cat Inc. (NASD:ACAT) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the open on Monday, March 6. S&P 500 constituent Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) is acquiring Arctic Cat in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final closing conditions.
William Lyon Homes designs, constructs, markets, and sells single-family detached and attached homes. Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Homebuilding Sub-Industry index.
